Stress! It’s such a little word, but one that can have big repercussions! It can affect all areas of your life including your mental and physical health. It can also affect motivation, hope, beliefs and any success you want in life.
There are going to be situations for everyone at one time or another that can make you feel stressed. Just like the last year with the pandemic. No-one was expecting that to happen and it created tremendous amounts of stress, anxiety and fear.
However, just because a situation may be stressful doesn’t mean you have to internalize it. It’s all about how you deal with situations.
There are many different ways to decrease stress. You just have to find one that works best for you. It might be deep breathing, taking a walk to change your environment, do some coloring, yoga etc.
Find one or two methods that will work for you so that if a stressful situation occurs you immediately have a way to deal with it without freaking out, which instead of feeling stressed, will make you feel much more powerful.
