I’ve given up working out how long it’s been since the pandemic started, since things were normal and we could walk around without wearing a mask so that other people could actually see when I smiled at them.

However even though it’s all been a big nuisance there are still things I’ve learned. I learned that although I would have to be careful, I wasn’t afraid. Although I didn’t go to the market for a number of months, because they too were at home, I didn’t stop seeing my children and grand-children. There’s a big difference between being afraid and using common sense to take precautions.

I’ve spent some time, probably more than I should have, watching social media. What I discovered there from posts, was that I’ve never seen people having so much fear and anxiety. There are still many people who haven’t yet been much further than their front door.

Once again I realized that as usual this was about mindset. Fear is just a feeling, you have a choice to get stuck in fear which in turn creates anxiety and stress or decide you are not going to allow fear and anxiety to take over your life.

Do you find yourself hiding away and pretending everything is great or do you reach out for support when you’re going through some kind of challenge?

So, ask yourself, are you putting on a show for the world so they see what you want them to see or are you willing to show the authentic you and when necessary show vulnerability?

Remember, you are the light in your world!

One of the changes I decided to make during the last year was to focus on getting people to understand how powerful and positive hypnotherapy is and how fast it can work. I’m not a stage hypnotist, I’m a clinical hypnotherapist who uses hypnosis as a tool to help people make positive changes.

There’s a whole host of things you can change with just a few hypnotherapy sessions.

Release unwanted weight, sleep better and more peacefully, decrease stress and stop overwhelm, believe in yourself, conquer fear so whether it’s an exam you need to take or a new product you want to create you don’t allow fear to stop you. This is just a few of the things you can change within a short period of time with hypnotherapy.
